You can use this for fun, or work, or whatever you'd like. Just pop it on your dash (suction cups included), and plug it into your cigarette lighter. You could of course hard-wire it to 12v too.
You could mount two of these in your back windshield. The possibilities are endless. Just be careful not to get in trouble :)
It isn't as bright as a real cop strobe, but it still gives a nice effect, for about 1/10th of the cost.
Press the red button to turn it on, and cycle through the flash modes.

Customer questions & answers
If I purchase this item, can I change the coloring to UV GREEN AMBER ? I want to use it for Mardi Gras here in New Orleans - by Joycelyn (Metairie, LA)
The kit only comes with the colors shown.
any way you could make this in all red? I'm a volunteer firefighter on a budget and we are not allowed to run blue lights, for obvious reasons, but red is allowed. - by Lee (Georgia)
We can certainly make this all in red. Its only cost effective to do the custom work if you're able to order at least $500 worth.
You may consider simply purchasing two units and modifying them yourself to make a single red one.

If hard wired would you still have to press the red button to turn it on? Or would it just start with the last mode played when it is given power? - by Dylan (Raleigh, NC)
Yes, you'd still have to press the red button. No memory - as soon as you turn it on, it resets.

AWESOME!!
Jordan Moddes from Kenosha, WI
This is SUPER cool. its extremely bright from dusk to dawn and it COULD get you in a LOTTA trouble if not used properly. Already was questioned by officers. O.o
but to make a 'real' squad car look, 2 are needed and placed right next to each other. turn them on together and there you go. real looking police car. :)
really easy to install and all the wiring is simple too. :)
