Customer questions & answers
Is the 3M tape waterproof? It appears to be their VHB tape, it that correct? Would it be sufficient to mount these lights on the transom of an Aluminum fishing boat, without the screws, and not worry about the lights coming off?
The tape is somewhat waterproof but not for under water. It will last several months to a year and then need to be replaced.
Your tech specs say these will operate from 12vdc to 24vdc. Will running them at 24vdc reduce life expectancy? - by Diego (Ile-bizard, Canada)
Running them at 24vdc will not reduce life expectancy. The internal LED driver is designed to handle 12vdc - 24vdc.
How would these compare to an 1157 bulb for the turn signals? Will it be able to be on dim and then get brighter when the blinker turns on? - by Cameron
This LED isn't designed to dim.
Don't know how many lumens a 1157 bulb puts out (there's probably a big range depending on type of bulb).

I am very impressed by these LEDs

I have recently used a red 3W flood (black housing) on a 12v battery-powered Halloween prop connected to a voltage varying device to make it randomly fade in and out and it works perfectly - bright and spooky!
I have also recently used 2 red 3W floods (silver housing), 2 amber 3W floods (silver housing), and a white 3W spot (black housing) for taillights, side markers, and headlight for an old Honda Mimimoto Maxii 400 electric motorcycle, powered by a dedicated 12v 2.8 Ah AGM battery. This setup runs for hours. Each flood is mounted behind a protruding round piece of frosted acrylic privacy panel that allows the light to brightly shine a full 180+ degrees. At night you can see the bike from over a block away from any angle and it will not be missed by drivers. My friend's young kid will be driving his motorcycle around when and where he probably shouldn't be and I trust these to offer as much protection as any lights can give him. The headlight is quite adequate for this application as well. I will soon be mounting one of the amber strips on the bottom of the motorcycle for effect.
I am very impressed by these LEDs. They are durable, solidly built, versatile, bright, and energy efficient as far as I can tell. I will be buying more as needed for my other projects.

I ordered these about a year and a half ago, and am just now getting around to the install. I have to say looking at the size of the led's on these, I was skeptical on how bright they would be. I wasn't prepared for what I saw when I powered them up. OMG. These things are blinding brilliant BRIGHT. WOW! The housing feels really substantial and appears extremely well made. I'm impressed, to say the least. Oznium.com rocks. Thanks ya'll.

The original LED floods I purchased caused serious Radio Frequency Interference whenever they powered on. I took my concerns to the site's Forum where the admins were already on top of the issue.
Once the RF Free lights were available, Phil Suslow, owner, gave me all the info I needed to order my replacements. Best part is HE offered to replace them w/o having to send the defective ones back. I didn't plan on asking for any special treatment but it felt good knowing Phil goes the extra mile for his customers. Now i have my replacements plus the old ones so I guess you can say I bought one set, got the second set free. Couldn't ask for a better bargain. Oznium has been my only source for vehicle lighting in the past and will remain to be. Thanx Phil and Oznium admins.

I built a display for a custom '69 Camaro Show Car. I used the floodlights in Orange and the Spotlights in White. The paint on the Camaro is Orange so the lights did a great job with the color and the white spots really gave the paint depth. Not to mention what they did for the chrome on the vehicle. First outing she won best in show and best display in show. Thank you Oznium. We are now building another Camaro in blue and a Kawasaki ZX7R in Candy Tangerine for this springs shows. I have 1000s of LED's that I use for lighting fixtures I construct and these are just incredible! The red is the first I opened and plugged into my 12c bench supply - WOW! Put on the sunglasses - seriously.
The other thing is I order these late Thursday and they arrive today (Monday) - this is from CA to PA. I doubt I will need their customer support but I am sure its every bit as good as their products and shipping time frames.
I have just bought several other items here but have only opened and tested the floods, so look for other reviews from me.
It is absolutely wonderful to find a company that bundles excellent products with phenominal service - few and far between. The prices are pretty exceptional too!
Short of sounding like a commercial, I will be buying everthing Oznium sells that I can use in my products!

I have been looking to put LED bulbs in my third brake light for my GMC Savana work van, since vibration breaks the glass bulbs every month or so. I looked EVERYWHERE, and I tried all sorts of replacement LED bulbs. Nothing came even close to the intensity of the stock filament bulbs... until now. I purchased two of the flood led lights, with a little moding (making the holes bigger in the brake assembly to fit the led units) I installed the leds. WORKED LIKE A CHARM. Brighter than the filament bulbs I must say. Very bright in daylight, and it hurts your eyes at night. Hopefully I wont get pulled over for the brightness. Im getting some more for my bike. I just completed a 2 hour burn in test of the rear 1 watts in my XB and they strobe out to insane techno with no issues whatsoever. They're attached to the inside of my body panels with double-sided tape and after the test they are still cool to the touch. Holy shit man are these things great. I already found some more spots for additional units, my whole interior is going to be strobing with the brightness of the sun! Max, you made a killer product!
Jeep Rock Lights

5 stars really don't do these guys justice! I installed some 3w high intensity LED floods in the fender wells of my jeep for use as rock lights. These things are great. Bright enough to actually serve as rock lights on a trail AND really cool looking to boot. Since installing the first set of these we've done them on about 4-5 different rigs in the last month. The applications are virtually endless. I highly recommend these 3w high intensity LED flood lights, and Oznium.com in particular, for your lighting needs!

I wrote the review below about the lights not being bright. I was WRONG. I had used some cheaper brand lights on my last boat, but I didn't judge fairly. The last set was red, these I ordered from Oznium were blue. I thought they weren't bright enough.
Well like an idiot, I went and bought the other brand too, and soon realized I was very wrong. The Oznium's blew the other brand away. I've since installed all 4 of my flood lights, and am actually on here to order 4 more. Very pleased. Disregard my comments below, they were made in haste and frustration.
Not too mention, Oznium took the time to ask me about my lights, and to aslo inquire about the other brand to learn more about their competition. That's a company that wants to stay the best right there.
