You can plug directly into an AC Adapter
Even though the plugs don't look like they mate, you can still force them together. You'll need to bring the AC Adapter plug in at an angle, and then force it into the Linear Light plug. The LEDs are polarity dependent, so if they don't light up, just flip the plug around it around, and they should light up.
