Can I connect a dimmer switch and AC adapter to the lights without this adapter wire? How will the AC adapter hook up?
Yes! The AC adapter had 2 wires coming off of it and the dimmer has two wires as well nconnect the two together and you're done.
Is this item essential to hooking up power to the lights? Do the lights come with an adapter wire as part of the kit?
This item is not essential to hooking up power to the lights. You're welcome to hook up power to the lights without using this item.
